I recently went through the same search and looked into all 3 of the options you listed. I ended up with a Nissan Versa, and I’ve been fairly happy with it. Why aren’t you considering it? However, I regret not getting the Matrix. Isn’t the Fit quite a bit smaller than the Matrix?
