I would hope, given the situation, that my relationship with my daughter would be strong enough that she would want to tell me and/or her mother that she was A) pregnant and B) considering an abortion. We work very hard to have that kind of openness. That being said, I don’t think it should be mandated that I know by law. While I would be sad and disappointed if she didn’t come to us first, I certainly don’t need the government interfering in our relationship. THAT being said, of course, I’d prefer she not get pregnant in the first place. But hey, if wishes were fishes…
