I’ve always regarded “spirituality” as one of those words that is so broadly defined, it’s useless. In practice, I see it being used a lot by people who reject organized religion, but haven’t made the leap to atheism (or agnosticism). Folks who cherry pick what they believe in – sometimes from multiple religions and otherworldly beliefs.
