Answer :

Sims 2 is likely at fault as it is apparently displaying the game in the wrong resolution for your screen. I’d expect that in order to solve this you’ll have to change some display-related setting from within Sims 2. Look for an options/preferences/settings menu in the game.

Last Answer : Not that I’m aware of; but you can set the Hot Corners so your screensaver comes on as soon as you move the mouse to a particular corner… and make your screen saver a dark one, then the screen will still go off in one minute. That’s what I do :)
