answer:Anyone can clean and paint and put up new curtains and replace crappy carpet. That isn’t hard to do and they are cheap renovations. Kitchens and bathrooms are hard and expensive. 90% of the people out there couldn’t replace a bathtub or a toilet. And those are time sensitive things too. You can’t really remodel your kitchen in your spare time unless you want to eat out for three months. You need to get it done fast so that usually involves hiring someone.
