I lost my dad too, but he was totally awesome, and he died doing what he did best; refusing to cut his hair. :D And loving me, despite how bumpy things often got. And just being generally awesome, and introducing me to all sorts of cool, obscure and and funky music and movies. If he can hear me, happy Father’s Day dad! :D

Last Answer : I did (many times) and it really helped form my boys’ interest in science and engineering. They were able to see and play with all kinds of test equipment, engines, environmental test chambers, wind tunnel, etc. They got a much better understanding of the engineering world. The lessons stuck.

My husband and I take pretty regular weekends to ourselves and we go somewhere and just play and try to do nothing connected with ... life entirely though. I have in the past had this feeling but thankfully my life is much happier now.
