answer:There are a lot of psychologists who argue that true altruism does not exist because even the most selfless acts have some ostensible self-interested motivation behind them (“feeling good,” glory, fame, validation, etc.). I don’t know if it’s true or not or how I feel about it, but it makes sense and I can’t come up with a valid counterpoint.
