Other than the robe incident, is it possible that you are misinterpreting friendliness for more? Regardless, you should be clear to him if a behavior is making you feel uncomfortable. For example, if he asks you over for drinks (I wish I had friendly neighbors), maybe you could tell him that you don’t feel comfortable doing so. He may be so embarrassed – even if he didn’t mean anything by it – that you might not get any more uncomfortable drinking invitations.
