answer:I skipped Lion and a couple versions of Flash so this might not apply but try going to System Preferences and clicking on Flash Player (at/near the bottom). Under Advanced make sure Allow Adobe to install updates is checked and click check now. The latest release I saw for Lion was 10.3.183.5 about a week back, not sure if it still is. If it’s still a no go you can try the ol’ uninstall/reinstall trick; see adobe’s instructions here.
