How is "Mean Girls" satire?

1 Answer

Answer :

answer:How is it not? It’s basically an hour and a half of making the “popular girls” and their followers look stupid. They were all ditzy, dumb, and self-centered – the kind of girls you laugh at, not the kind you’re friends with. They exaggerated the way many people think of those girls and made it comical. I mean, the whole ‘Regina gets hit by a bus’ thing was pretty clear. And the girls cutting out the boobs of their shirts because she did it. That would never actually happen, of course. “One time, she punched me in the face. It was awesome.” And in the end we realize how crazy we’re acting and decide to all be friends and live happily ever after. As if that would ever happen in high school…
