answer:Anything that is poorly wrapped will get freezer burn. Cooked potatoes in any form turn to mush when frozen. Chopped meat, packaged properly, can be frozen. Most foods have a shelf life of only a few days in the refrigerator. No food will be happy if put in the fridge as is, which I assume means unwrapped or uncontained.
