Effects of Overdose combination of Paracetamol, Ibrufen and Citrizin Hydrochloride?

1 Answer

Answer :

answer:You’ve listed these drugs by their chemical (generic) names. For the sake of simplicity I’m going to use the brand names. Therefore: Paracetamol = Tylenol Ibuprophen = Motrin Ceterizine HCL = Zyrtec You need to either get your friend to an ER or call 911. This is a situation for professionals to handle rather than playing guessing games on the Internet. The Zyrtec is not the biggest concern here other than a walloping case of dry mouth. If he took all these pills these hoping for an easy way to commit suicide where he would just drift off peacefully to sleep, that will not happen. Liver failure will take several very painful days before it kills you. The 1600 mgs. of Motrin is 8 of the OTC pills. That’s double the highest reccmended prescription dose so if he took this much without food he will likely have one hell of a stomach ache. But the Tylenol is the MOST CONCERNING. Overdosing on this has killed people but in the most miserable painful way possible. Its extremely toxic to the liver. He needs to be in an ER so they can do blood tests and minimize the liver damage. There is no way to tell for certain if this was a high enough dose to kill him but I’m not willing to assert that it won’t. But it’s certainly enough to possibly cause liver damage necessitating a liver transplant. That’s not fun and liver failure is really an awful way to die. If you can’t talk him into going to an ER then call 911 and let the ambulance handle it. He needs to be evaluated.
