answer:How do you think of these questions? If he gets elected, and then decides to drop out then does his VP get it? Is it a matter of minutes or weeks between giving it to the democrat, or giving it to the Republican VP. He would just have to take the oath, and then resign. I don’t know all the rules. I’ll answer the Q in a more general way. If my candidate dropped out on election night I would be pretty freaked out. I’d hope we at least had a few weeks notice. Remember people start voting absentee ballot way before election night.
