For me it’s simple, i’m basically atheist but claim to be agnostic just to keep my options open come “judgement day” This means that if there happens to be a fork in the death road pointing to heaven & hell, I can confidently claim myself as a fully fledged fence sitter allowing me access to paradise. Okay, so it’s not as simple as I made out, but it covers my arse anyway.
