If it’s my child I would tell them when we die we probably don’t get to see our dead dogs, and when you die you can never come back to life. You will no longer be here with your family and friends. Side note: There was a story years ago of a very young girl stepping in front of a train in Florida to be with her dead mom. Right before committing suicide she told her siblings she wanted to die to be with mommy.
