Do countries outside of North America celebrate Thanksgiving?

1 Answer

Answer :

Thanksgiving is a distinctively American holiday, celebrated in October in Canada and in November in the United States. There are harvest festivals in many countries around the world, but many of them are either very local or not very important. In North America, Thanksgiving has become one of the anchor festivals of the year, right up with ********* and Easter for Christians, and yet sufficiently free of Christian baggage that those from other religious traditions have no difficulty sharing in the festivity.
