Ingredients1 lb Halibut, cut into chunks1 c Flour1 1/2 ts Garlic powder1 1/2 ts Curry powder(or a bit less) 1 ts Marjoram2 ts Baking powder3/4 ts Lemon pepper2 c Panko(Japanese potato flakes) 12 fl Flat **** (or less)Combine flour, garlic powder, curry powder, marjoram, baking powder, and lemon pepper. Mix well. Slowly add enough flat **** to make a thick batter. Dip halibut in batter and then roll in Panko. Let stand for 2 minutes. Deep fry in 375 degree F. fat until golden brown. Drain on absorbent paper and serve with a tartar sauce or a zesty tomato, horseradish sauce for dipping. Serves 3-4.
