When using a charger to charge a ATV battery what settings should my charger be on 2 or 6 Amps 6 or 12 volts?

Answer :

Set the charger on 2 amps and 12 volts. Hopefully you have anauto off charger that will not overcharge the battery. If not thencharge the battery for 6 hours and then with a digital volt metercheck the charge of the battery. You should read 12.6 volts if thebattery is fully charged. 12.4 volts and it is 75% charged. 12.2volts and it is 50% charged. 12 volts and it is 25% charged. Chargeadditional hours to reach a full charge.
