Removing old stains
Dried blood on clothes that could not be removed with the above means can be removed using industrial stain removers such as Vanish, Udalix, Pyatnol. At the same time, do not forget about the required temperature for washing - no higher than 40 degrees. The stain should be pre-soaked in one of the named products to enhance the cleansing effect. Dishwashing liquid can give unexpectedly excellent results.
Ammonia is another effective remedy for removing blood stains. It is necessary to prepare the following solution - take 20 grams per liter of water. ammonia and soak the soiled thing in this composition. Then wash with a bleaching powder for colored or white fabrics.
You can use regular edible salt instead of ammonia. The proportions for the preparation of the stain remover solution are similar to the previous version.
Another popular way is to use glycerin. A vial of glycerin is heated in warm water, then a cotton pad is moistened in the composition and the stain is wiped off until completely removed. Then the item should be washed thoroughly, because greasy stains may remain from glycerin.
Removing washed stains
In this case, unfortunately, it will most likely not be possible to remove the stain. Depending on its intensity and location, you can try to hide the dirt by sewing on a patch or attaching a decorative brooch.
Removing blood stains on silk fabric
This and other delicate materials require a special approach to washing, especially when it comes to removing stains. Alcohol compounds are not suitable for removing blood stains on silk. Experts recommend using a folk remedy - potato starch. The powder must be diluted with water to a mushy consistency, applied to the place of pollution. Leave to dry and then scrape off the starch with a clothes brush or toothbrush.
A blood stain on clothes can ruin your favorite thing irrevocably if you approach the issue of removing pollution from the wrong side.
