Renewing your SSL is a multi-step process that varies depending on the type of your certificate and where you host your site. Even if your SSL has been renewed automatically, you must apply the renewal credit and complete the renewal request through your account. You can purchase and apply SSL renewals during a 90-day renewal period: 60 days before the expiration date within 30 days after it expires. For example, if your certificate expires on June 15, you must purchase and apply the renewal credit between April 15 and July 15. After you purchase the renewal credit or your SSL is renewed automatically, you must apply the credit to your expired SSL and complete the renewal request. If SSL expires and you do not complete the renewal request within 90 days, the previously booked site will display an error message.
