answer:My ballet teacher a while ago was stuck with my class on a day when we were all being particularly hard on ourselves. So, she had us pair up. One was to stick their arm out in front of them. The other, try to push it down while the first was resisting. So we did. The arm went down a little. Then our teacher told us to tell ourselves, over and over again, “I can’t, I can’t, I can’t” and really mean it. We got pretty serious, and it got pretty sad. We stuck our arms out again, the partner pushed them down, and it was harder to keep up, and the arm went down far. Now, said our teacher, tell yourself: “I can. I can! I can!!” and really mean it. So we did. Held our arms out. They felt lighter. The person pushed down, had to work harder, and we actually lifted their arms up. The brain’s incredibly powerful on its own. All you need to give it is a little belief, and it’ll soar. Easier said than done. I’m inclined to believe that that’s what the braclet is doing. Of course, this is coming from someone who’s been raised in a house hearing nothing but things like that are too good to be true and are simply the placebo effect. I wish I was able to see it another way. So that I might get a choice is how I see it. But so far, I haven’t had that opportunity. On the other side, the one I’m not allowed to venture as much, this sounds a lot like something based off the theories behind Qi Medicine. I know someone who’s a Qi Therapist. I wish I knew more about it, but again, I haven’t really been allowed to explore the concept. I do know that it’s about finding balance in your energy. And that one time, the Qi Therapist I know wanted to take a look at a foot problem I’d been having off and on for a couple of years. I only had one very quick trial, and then my mom found out and got very tense about the topic. But he was using magnets. He said that my circulation in my foot wasn’t good. There was a blockage. The magnets were supposed to help clear that. I can’t tell you if it worked or not, because it was only five minutes. My foot problem is better now, by the way. Seems to have cleared up on its own, but I don’t know why that is. Anyway, those are the two sides of it that I’d look at. Hope that helps answer your question?
