I haven't tried ketogenic diet and I don't think I want to try. I've read that ketogenic diet is a type of strict diet plan. It is a full fat diet with no carbs or proteins. Usually, our bodies make use of sugar from carbs for energy. In the absence of sugar, it breaks down proteins and fats. Now with keto diet, since you'd be eating basically fats, your body keeps breaking down fat in a process known as ketosis. Hence, you start to lose weight.
