How much do you think a persons name affects the outcomes of peoples lives?

Answer :

I believe that a persons name could affect their ability to land successful jobs in a way. My name is a tad bit difficult and hard to pronounce so I just a shorter version of my name. I have applied to jobs with my government name and have been turned down from positions but once I used my alternative I was at least offered an interview. Maybe it was a coincidence but that's just my opinion.
