New glass for fireplace stoves.

After several years of heating in the fireplace, the glass broke. Should I have a normal glass cut by a glazier and put it there, or does it have to be some special?

It must be special, ordinary it would crack. You can have it cut by a glazier, but you have to tell him what you're up to to give you some refractory ones. We have in the fireplace around the glass, still such an insulating string, it can be bought in Obi and it is also heat resistant, it works there as a seal.
