What is FPS in the game?

In omsi, I'm running FPS at the top. I noticed that if I have an FPS of 10, for example, the game stalls terribly, if I have an FPS of 30, then the game runs like ****. What is it?

Answer :

FPS = FramesPerSecond = FramesPerseconds In order to perceive the story as smooth, a person needs to have at least 25 images rotated in a second - that's why the image seems choppy at 10 fps, while at 30 fps it seems smooth.
