Non-toxic, thornless, evergreen deciduous hedge

Hello, I need advice on which deciduous hedge to choose for young children. Not to be poisonous or thorny. If it blooms and is easy to maintain, it would be ideal. Thank you for any advice.

Lonicera nitida 'Baggesen's Gold' If you need to grow 1 - 1.5 meters, this evergreen fruit bush does not need any maintenance at all, it blooms and the fruits are edible. Or Ebbinge's Egret - Elaeagnus x ebbingei (Russian Olive) - but it grows 3-4 meters, so it will be necessary to prune, but the fruits are edible. Both plants are evergreen, do not have thorns and are not poisonous.
