I can't hear the caller

Hello, I bought my husband a A6 A6000. After about half a year, I stopped hearing him. He hears me well, but I seem to be from a distance. The same calls say that when a husband calls, he does not hear him. What can it be? Do I have to return the mobile phone as a complaint or can something be set up there so that the called party can hear it? Thank you for the advice.

I don't think I would ever see a microphone volume setting on a mobile phone if it happens regularly and they would also find out in the service, so report it
