We live in a single-storey semi-detached house without a lightning conductor (it was built 60 years ago). It is a colony of semi-detached houses, built on a hill, about 20 m apart (uphill). The height of the roof ridge from the ground is about 5 m. I am considering the construction of a lightning conductor. Can't my lightning conductor increase the risk of lightning damage to other houses (immediately adjacent and 20 meters away)? I don't want my neighbors to "eat" me. I read that the lightning rod attracts lightning. We will not agree on a joint construction with a neighbor (we do not have good relations).
