I don't know how old your machine is, but 2 monitors can be connected to desktops for a while now. It would be nice to know what kind of video card you have. Let's say 2 monitors have been supported by video cards for a long time, and newer ones can handle 3 or more monitors. So if your video card isn’t too old, connect all 2 monitors to it. You probably have 2 DVI connectors on the card, or if you have a newer one, you might have 2 DVIs and an HDMI one outside and I could list more. So it doesn't matter which connector, but connect your 2 monitors. Once you have started the machine and the windows have loaded, you will most likely recognize it as 2 screens. All you have to do is set up not to see the same image on both of them, because it doesn't make much sense. :) Right-click on the desktop and this little tablet will pop up: Select Display Settings on it. https:///wp-content/uploads/2017/01/2-monitor-1.jpg [/ img] If you clicked on Screen Settings, see below you should see the image: https:///wp-content/uploads/2017/01/2-monitor.jpg [/ img] Click here 1) monitor image, then select "Extend these displays" below. If you apply this, you will not immediately see the same on the 2 monitors, but you will have a huge workspace and you can even drag and drop programs from one monitor to another. In the panel above, you can also change the settings of the screens, or, for example , move one screen above or below the other, or wherever you like, to determine the position of the screens. All you have to do is hold down the left mouse button on the screen you want to move and drag the monitor to where you want it.
