Apply a base coat using Latex paint. Let the paint dry overnight.
Put together the glaze medium, oil-based paint and paint thinner. Make sure to read the manufacturer’s instructions and follow them precisely.
With a roller, apply the glaze on the wall. The second person should check the areas you’ve finished glazing and use an alkyd paint brush to glaze corners, sides and any area you might have missed.
After applying the glaze medium, carefully blot out some glaze using a pounce cloth. Do this while the glaze is still wet.
Use the pounce made with cotton cloth to blot out some glaze. Make your helper use the pounce made of cheesecloth. Your helper blots the areas that you’ve finished blotting.
