How To Heal An Infection
When you have an infection, it means your body has been penetrated by foreign species, which then feed on your resources, so they can survive. Having an infection interferes with your normal functions, causing you to feel sick and changing your physical state. It can lead to different outcomes, like wounds and soreness, cell tissue decay, or worse, death. As soon you find out you’ve contracted an infection, you must act quickly to heal it.
Kinds Of Infection
The subject of infections is very broad, meaning different infections require different treatment. Here are the three most common kinds of infections today.
Bacterial Infection - This is the most common type, because in the human body, there are 10 times more bacteria cells than human cells. Common examples of this infection include strep throat, gastroenteritis (diarrhea), sinus infection, yeast infection, and ear infection. If you have a bacterial infection, physicians will prescribe you antibiotics, and change your lifestyle, so your immune system will deal with the bacteria properly.
Viral infection - Caused by viruses that evolve and reproduce in the body. Examples of viral infections are the common cold, herpes, laryngitis, chicken pox, influenza and shingles. A little medical intervention cures viral infections, through antiviral drugs. Immunizations also help deal with viral infections.
Fungal infections - Found usually in the skin or the respiratory system. These include athlete’s foot, jock itch, ringworm and Tinea Capitis. Antibiotics help fight fungal infections when it occurs in the lungs or nose, but if the skin is affected, using antiseptics and fungicides or antifungal creams is advised.
