Shampoo is used for cleaning hair, removing oil, dirt, dandruff and hair-based parasites. Shampoo makers have recently widened the definition of the product by creating shampoos that strengthen and enable the easy styling of hair. Of course, if these people can create and even deviate on the haircare product, you can surely do it yourself.
Effective yet Mildly Formulated
Commercially -made shampoos are composed of oils and chemicals. The formulations of some shampoos, usually anti-dandruff ones, are too strong for people with sensitive scalps. These products can cause hair fall and can damage your scalp if you apply to much. To avoid damaging your hair, the item that you’re about to make has all the benefits of a good commercial shampoo without the consequences.
Materials Used:
egg
2 drops of lavender oil
1 tbsp liquid castile soap
1 tsp olive oil
1 tsp lemon juice
ladle/stirrer
plastic bottle (with cover) / empty shampoo container
blender
Procedure:
Buy liquid castile soap and lavender oil from a health cosmetics store.
Crack an egg and place its contents inside a blender.
Place the lemon juice and the olive oil in the blender. Mix the blender’s contents with a stirrer.
Get a tablespoon of castile soap from your supply and add it to the mixture.
Blend the mixture thoroughly until its components are totally indistinguishable.
Add the lavender oil to give your shampoo a nice refreshing scent.
Once again, blend the mixture.
Dip your finger into the mixture and see if it lathers when mixed with water. If it doesn’t, you can add a few more tablespoons of castile soap to the mix.
Transfer the blender’s contents into the plastic bottle or empty shampoo container.
You now have a shampoo that removes oil and dirt from your hair, while giving it a nice sheen. Its formulation is mild, so you can use it everyday. If you want to turn it into an anti-dandruff shampoo, just add baking soda to its list of ingredients.
