There’s oily, dry, colored (and different brands and types of color produce different textures and issues of their own, i.e. a more expensive, milder salon color might have a different effect on the hair than a dime-store bottled brand done at home). My suggestion is to try different shampoos and see which works best for you. I have several different bottles going at once, and I may use a different one on one day and a different one the next day, depending on my mood.
