If a few workers in a corner area start production together or some people are involved in any kind of production work on the basis of co-operatives, it will be known as producer co-operative society. Examples of such cooperatives are weavers 'cooperatives , dairy cooperatives , farmers' cooperatives , fishermen's cooperatives, etc.
