The person whose son dies is called extinct in Arabia . When Qasim or Ibrahim, the son of Rasulullah, died in infancy , the disbelievers began to ridicule him as an outcast. Among them the name of ' As Ibn Wa'il ' is particularly significant. If there was any discussion of Rasoolullah (peace be upon him) in front of him, he would say: Exclude him , he is not a matter of concern. Because , he is extinct. When he dies, there will be no one to pronounce his name. In this context, Surah Al-Kawthar was revealed.
