There are three main types of modulation. Namely: (a) Amplitude modulation: The modulation in which the amplitude of the carrier signal changes according to the modulating frequency is called amplitude modulation. (B) Frequency modulation: The modulation in which the frequency of the carrier signal changes according to the modulating frequency is called frequency modulation. (C) Phase modulation: The modulation in which the phase of the carrier signal changes according to the modulating frequency is called phase modulation.
