The structure and operation of Bluetooth Piconet is a basic component of Bluetooth system. The name of the network that can be formed through Bluetooth technology is Piconet, which can exchange information between a maximum of 6 devices under a pico-net. In general , it is now widely used in the exchange of information between devices such as mobile phones , laptops , digital cameras, etc. The sum of some piconets is called scoternet. A piconet can have only one master node at a time and a maximum of seven slave nodes. Mate in a piconet has 255 slave nodes but remains active but only 8 will remain inactive in the rest. When the two side piconets are connected by a common slave node. These slave nodes are then called bridges, and the two piconets are collectively called scoternets.
