Answer :

The death toll from Sunday's attack in Sri Lanka has been reduced to more than 100, with at least 253 people killed . This information was given by the Ministry of Health of the country. The ministry says it was a mistake. The bomber struck shortly after noon in front of a hotel and church in the Colombo area, and in the eastern city of Batticaloa. Hundreds of people were injured, officials said. Most of the dead were Sri Lankan nationals. However, officials said that some foreigners were also among the casualties. It is suspected that the number of suicide bombers is not. The police continued the campaign in different places and published pictures of seven people who are involved in the attack. Other things happened: Sri Lanka's defense secretary announced his resignation on Thursday. He resigned after failing to provide intelligence to those involved. The country's Catholic Church has canceled all prayer services. Police say they have arrested more than 60 people. One of the attackers is said to have studied in the United Kingdom and Australia. In an urgent message, Sri Lanka's Minister of Muslim Affairs MH Abdul Halim appealed to the country's Muslim community not to go to the mosque on Friday for Friday prayers. They should pray at home.
