Why are transgenic organisms and GMO not one ?

1 Answer

Answer :

A transgenic organism is an organism that is created by transmitting genes from one organism to another. It is a mixture of two genes of the same genus or different organisms. GMOs, on the other hand, are genetically modified organisms. This means that an organism is created by modifying the combination , modification or addition or subtraction of an organism's own genes . In this case, if the addition occurs, it will be the same organism of the same species. There will be no different creatures. That is why transgenic and GMO are not one. But both are made by gene engineering and the trajectory is somewhat similar.
