Collards have an optimal temperature range from 45-85 degrees, and if kept in full sun and moist, you can harvest in about 80 days.  They like their soil to be moist, but not waterlogged .  Plant in the first part of spring to harvest in summer.  Plant in 6 inch intervals.  Cut the plant at ground level to harvest the entire plant, or cut the outer leaves when they reach 10-12 inches and maintain the smaller plant inside to continue growing.  If you are looking for more collard seeds, take a look at www.edenbrothers.com they usually have a good selection.
