Answer :

It's probably a fungus.............I would not eat that fruit....................spray in the fall when the leaves drop off with something for fungus............see if that helps it.........if it still presists do dormant oil 1 month later............not sure if that is going to survive.  We had trouble with a black knot fungus......nothing worked.we had to take away 22 pear trees.
