yes you can if you have a large sunny window or grow lights.  Let a potatoe go to seed.  Use a paring knife and cut out the eyes carefully..........eyes up planted in inside soil..............not the one from the $ store that is not sterile....you use that you will get flies..........use the one for inside with the vitamins.
