make a hot pepper spray-- use a quart of water add xxx hot sauce some super hot peppers, chile peppers,be creative!! etc. let it sit over nite-- strain liquid into a spray bottle spray plants and surrounding ground it doesn't kill the animal but will not want to try that again nd it doesn't harm the plant
