2 different ways.  bring them inside & wipe with a 2 tablespoons of bleach & 1/2 gallon of water and wipe to prevent bugs from coming in....................put on counter away from sun............................or wrap in newspaper and put in box and put in above freezing area and check them every week for ripeness........
