The frost has hit here severl nights in NE PA.......almost time to take those apples. When the leaves fall off the tree this year, spray with dormant oil according to the directions.............spray the bark well. then you are good undtil early spring next year when the snow is melting do the spring mix and spray, wear gloves, goggles, hat long old clothes & mark. I spray up to bud stage and then after that I only spray the bark up to the first branch. We can't disturb the buds with any spray because that will effect the bee population. Keep children & pets away until it is dry. Don't spray on windy days or if it is going to rain. Good luck with your tree.
