Why is my corn snake biting me?

I've had my snake since she's 5 months old. She's now 2 years old. Why has she started biting? I take her out of her cage daily and pay attention to her. Why would she all of a sudden start now?

You might have held her too tightly and she bites to protect herself. Did you handle any prey animal before feeding or touching her? Could she be hungry and mistake you for food? Try handling her a bit more gently. Don't come upon her suddenly so as not to stress her.
