Is it weird that my python sticks his head completely under water?

He's been doing it for about 2 minutes. Should I be worried?

Answer :

Snakes often take big drinks of water. It takes a long time for the water to make its way to the stomach. Two minutes under water doesn't sound like a long time but if you have any doubts and think your python may be ill, it's time for a trip to the vet.
