answer:I have heard, without being able to quote the precise source, that if a Native American (“Indian”) resides on an official Native American reservation, and earns all of his/her income while residing on that reservation, that the Native American doing so is EXEMPT from the reporting and payment of ANY federal income taxes. I know in many US states that it is true. Not any reservation though…it must be their own tribes reservation and yes their income must have come from living and working there on the reservation, and not outside of the reservation. All I can say is more power to them. I am 100% for it.
