I have heard a few versions of the story of Pandora’s box. My favorite is one where it was not Hope that was let out of the box, but the most terrible little creature was kept in the box. It was the creature that would whisper each and every misfortune that would to a person that day. In short, I would want to know the past only, not the future. kudos to your daughter for such a good question.
