How do I make oatmeal from rolled oats (from the bulk bins)?

1 Answer

Answer :

that could be accurate, nutritional valuewise. I eat Scottish oatmeal, and it’s “suggest ed serving” is 1/4cup, at 140calories and 23g carbs. x2 = 1/2 cup = about what you said. but i think the fibre makes up for it.?? prep wise, i boil 1 cup water, add 1/2 cup oats (approx, i eyeball it) and reduce heat, stirring constantly. i add some salt as well. top with fruit, cinnamon, brown sugar, flax seed, ,milk or whatever you want. :)
